$20/hr - $20/hrThe New York Public Library is seeking a Library Page Fellowship Assistant to provide administrative and programmatic support for its Fellowship Programs. This role is essential for the smooth operation and growth of initiatives aimed at supporting early career and workforce development for high school and college entry-level employees.

Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day administrative and program coordination support for the Library Page Fellowship Program, LEAD Program, and related initiatives
Coordinate schedules for cohorts, workshops, meetings, and special events (virtual and in-person)
Supports recruitment, including application tracking, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and other supporting materials
Track program participation, attendance, and outcomes using spreadsheets, databases, or HR systems
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
Some experience in the following areas: career development, programming, project management, and data analysis
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills in one-on-one interactions, group situations, and through presentations and events
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in data tracking and documentation
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across departments
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace (Word, Excel, Forms, Calendar, etc.)
Ability to handle complex issues with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and supporting career pathways for early career employees
Preferred
Preference for candidates who are currently enrolled in a degree program or have been in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
