Responsibilities
Maintains a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the technical services mission effectively and efficiently. Interviews and recommends applicants for hire as technical operators
Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of technical service associates; ensures their ability to handle/install equipment safely
Counsels, records, and disciplines as necessary. Develops crew leaders to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned crew members
Works closely with Customer engineers, developing BOMs and future solutions for hardware
Monitors server assembly adhering to set global standards
Oversees the supply of materials to fabrication and stages materials for assembly and sub-assembly
Develops testing scope for various hardware with defined results and expectations
Works closely with Client Services and Project Managers to ensure rack builds are completed timely manner and ready for transport and deployment as required by the customer
Qualification
Required
B.S. or B.A. degree in business management or Engineering, industrial management, or related field
3 to 5 years of experience in warehousing, receiving, inventory control, or materials management in a manufacturing environment, with 2+ years of supervisory experience
Computer hardware building or other related experience
Technical Network, Racking & Stacking at a mass scale
Exceptional understanding of Fiber Cat6
Power cable managing experience
In-depth telco code experience
