Responsibilities

Integrates customer needs with business competencies to drive accelerated performance improvement
Responsible for processes, and systems associated with Change Management Framework (CM), MOS design, execution, and maturity
Fosters effective working relationships and systems across business segments to ensure business-wide focus, consistency, and accountability
Manages relationships with functional counterparts in industry and the parent corporation to leverage contemporary Lean / Six Sigma / Total User Experience (TX) and related systems, processes, and tools
Integrates business requirements to meet the needs of core and emerging programs
Executes strategic and tactical Lean / Six Sigma improvement activities across the business enterprise
Completes gap analysis assessments; drives appropriate industry best practices throughout the business
Assures individual project accomplishments and overall work unit effectiveness are achieved relative to committed objectives
Drives continual operational alignment of project management excellence with strategic goals
Lead KCNSC or NSE-wide programs and activities to standardize and execute best business processes
Own, develop, and provide leadership for execution of business training and development across the organization and, potentially, across elements of the NSE
Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established HS&E requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the environment. Takes actions necessary to "stop" work when an unsafe condition or action

Required

Bachelor's Degree required
10 or more years of experience in key engineering, manufacturing, and/or program/project management roles, including application of: advanced engineering technologies; program/project management principles related to highly complex technical or program assignments; and/or, complex strategic business processes
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
United States Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
Proven / Certified Change Management practitioner
Demonstrated knowledge and application of Change Management Principles, User/Customer Experience (UX) / Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
Leading Project or program management processes & teams related to highly complex program assignments and/or, complex strategic business processes
Integration of multiple, complex business processes
Ability to interpret, negotiate and capture customer requirements
Proven excellence in effective communication, interactive presentations, and negotiation skills
Proven ability to mentor, coach, and lead project management personnel and other staff in a matrixed management environment

Preferred

Black Belt/Lean Expert/User Experience (UXC)/PMI Certification
Change Management Practitioner Certifications
Masters / Advance Degree in Engineering or Business-related field
Understanding of the NSE acquisition and product realization processes
