Responsibilities

Define and drive platform capabilities that enable consistent, reliable, and secure SaaS delivery across Cisco product lines
Identify internal customer needs, pain points, and workflow gaps; translate them into clear requirements and prioritized product roadmaps
Partner closely with engineering to refine designs, guide tradeoffs, and deliver iterative improvements backed by measurable outcomes
Establish and track platform adoption, performance, and customer satisfaction metrics to inform decisions and demonstrate impact
Lead discovery efforts, competitive reviews, ROI analyses, and value propositions for foundational platform investments
Collaborate with internal product teams to ensure platform services meet cross-functional needs and integrate seamlessly into their development lifecycle
Communicate platform vision and updates to leadership and stakeholders, influencing alignment across teams
Document user journeys, service expectations, and integration patterns for internal customers
Support onboarding, rollouts, and feedback loops to help teams succeed on the platform

Required

BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
10+ years in product management or a related role
7+ years working with SaaS technologies, engineering practices, and product metrics
Strong communicator who can simplify complex AI and platform concepts for broad audiences and influence partners across engineering, architecture, security, and product leadership
Customer centered with a track record of defining solutions grounded in real user needs supported by data and insight
Experienced Product Manager with a strong understanding of how AI capabilities integrate into platform services and developer workflows
Able to translate AI and ML concepts into practical, scalable platform features that enable internal teams to build intelligent SaaS products
Comfortable partnering with data science and AI engineering teams to define requirements for model hosting, inference workflows, observability, policy controls, and responsible AI guardrails
Skilled at evaluating where AI can improve internal developer experience, automation, and operational efficiency, and where it should not be applied
Adept at navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex technical environments while managing multiple cross functional initiatives
Technically curious and able to quickly understand new AI technologies, platform components, and cloud services
Able to balance strategic thinking with hands on execution to ensure platform capabilities deliver measurable value

Preferred

Experience managing or mentoring other Product Managers
Understanding of SaaS GTM principles
Background delivering cloud platform components or security-related platform services
Ability to break down and prioritize complex technical programs
Experience working with networking or infrastructure products
Strong ability to engage with engineering teams, senior leaders, partners, and internal customers
