Responsibilities
Execute high-volume procurement activities, managing approximately 1,000 purchase orders and 5,000–6,000 PO lines with an estimated value of $40M–$50M
Perform "heavy quoting" and vendor negotiations to ensure material and service planning requirements are met within schedule and budget
Navigate the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process in SAP, including cutting POs from backlogs, maintaining PO accuracy, and reconciling blocked invoices
Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Project Management, Accounts Payable, and Receiving to resolve shipment or payment discrepancies
Utilize Excel (VLOOKUPs), SharePoint, and Power BI to generate reports and perform data reconciliation for inventory and master agreements
Manage vendor relationships for 30–50 suppliers, ensuring high-quality performance and resolving any disputes regarding asset delivery or surplus disposal
Qualification
Required
3+ years of industrial or project-based purchasing experience (Buyer I/II or Replenishment Buyer)
Hands-on experience with ERP systems is required
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, specifically the ability to use VLOOKUPs and data filtering for large datasets
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience considered)

SAP ECC is highly preferred
