Outside Sales Representative - San Angelo, TX

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for prospecting and cold-calling sales leads, conducting demonstrations, and closing deals while managing their sales territory effectively.

Responsibilities
Manage your territory by developing new business sales and prospects, keeping an active schedule sufficient to grow revenue
Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager on territory management and account planning
Develop and implement an aggressive prospecting plan to uncover sales opportunities
Generate leads through self-conducted research and networking, actively making multiple cold calls and setting appointments looking for new business opportunities
Conduct 4+ demos per week showcasing how our technology will improve their business and reduce repair times
Train customers to ensure renewal of software
Utilize ERP to record, maintain & report customer information
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three (3) years outside sales experience
Cold calling and prospecting: good business acumen including sales quota achievement and closing sales
Outstanding relationship-building skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to understand and overcome customer's buying objections
Strong time-management, organizational and prioritization abilities
Ability to adopt to quick business changes
Excellent follow up skills and a sense of urgency when dealing with customers
General proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
Requires a valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
Consent to undergo background check
Preferred
Associate degree in Automotive Technology or related field preferred but not required
Experience in the diagnostic tool industry a plus
Willingness to travel: 75% (Preferred)
