Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for planning and material flow escalations on the manufacturing floor
Track, escalate, and mitigate material shortages to minimize production delays
Request and monitor STOs and update manufacturing systems to ensure uninterrupted production
Create de-kit production orders to support potentially idle systems
Analyze demand priorities and re-prioritize work to support critical builds
Investigate production order variances as a final quality check to reduce scrap and material loss
Utilize SAP to cost parts, transact and transfer materials, and investigate material flow issues
Coordinate with Project Services and Engineering to secure required materials
Provide guidance and training to new team members
Represent Production Control – Floor Support in daily production meetings
Support manufacturing teams with questions related to SAP, material flow, documentation, and processes
Complete monthly safety trainings and consistently follow safe work practices
Qualification
Required
Experience in a manufacturing operations environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make accurate, timely decisions
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience troubleshooting material flow, inventory issues, or production planning challenges
