Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL databases
Monitor performance, tune queries, and manage indexes/statistics
Implement and manage backup, recovery, and high availability strategies
Perform system administration tasks including patching, scripting, and server configuration
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application deployments
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in production and non-production environments
Document procedures, configurations, and best practices
Migrate legacy data from Microsoft SQL Server to PostgreSQL
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree and minimum of 5 years' experience in the following:
Database Administration
Implementing data policies, procedures, standards
Planning and development of an organization's enterprise data model
Resolving data conflicts
Managing data repositories
U.S. citizenship required
A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph
Preferred
Experience with PostgreSQL
Experience with AWS
Knowledge of EAV data model
