Responsibilities

Guiding specification, selection, and design of rotating equipment for a wide variety of mechanical process and power generation system applications
Identifying requirements
Performing design calculations
Selecting and specifying rotating equipment to ensure they meet all technical specifications and program/project requirements
Providing expert opinions, based on technical information, to system owners and responsible engineers in the area of their expertise
Providing recommendations on all aspects of equipment selection including design, specification, application, selection, cost, performance, reliability, and maintenance strategy

Required

Expertise in rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, etc.)
Ability to guide specification, selection, and design of rotating equipment

Capability to select and specify rotating equipment to meet technical specifications and program/project requirements
Ability to provide expert opinions based on technical information to system owners and responsible engineers
Recommendations on all aspects of equipment selection including design, specification, application, selection, cost, performance, reliability, and maintenance strategy
