Wicked Technologies is redefining care for seniors through smart, connected solutions. As Principal Engineer, you will lead the technical development of the next-generation smart incontinence detection platform, focusing on embedded systems, wireless IoT design, and medical device development.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and system-level design for Wicked Smart Pad hardware, firmware, and cloud interfaces

Oversee and refine the architecture for low-power sensing, BLE communication, and alert delivery

Own the product lifecycle from prototype to production to post-market improvements, within a Class II, 510(k)-exempt framework

Collaborate with product, clinical, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with ISO 13485, 14971, and applicable FDA guidance

Conduct and review risk analyses (FMEA), verification & validation (V&V), and design documentation

Support contract manufacturers and external engineering partners to ensure quality, cost, and reliability targets are met

Drive the integration of future product features

Provide mentorship to internal engineers and consultants across hardware, firmware, and cloud development
