Haleon is a purpose-driven consumer healthcare company seeking a summer intern for their Research and Development team. The intern will support product development and testing activities, gaining hands-on experience in formulation, manufacturing, and testing of consumer healthcare products.

Responsibilities

Support formulation, product development, and/or product evaluation and testing activities under the guidance of a mentor
Conduct laboratory experiments, analyze data, and document findings in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
Data analysis and presentation of results
Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Formulation, Analytical, Regulatory, and Manufacturing
Deliver all EHS standards and expectations on site and within the laboratories
Ensures work is always conducted following good scientific practice and Good Manufacturing Practice (where required) and maintains precise experimental records
Present project outcomes during end-of-summer presentations

Required

Graduating from a Bachelor's degree program from the School of Pharmacy at Virginia Commonwealth University
Ability to work on site in a laboratory environment in Richmond, VA
Candidate must be available to work full-time throughout the 12-week internship (Approximately 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday)
Must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of employment. Employees will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization. Applicant must not require future sponsorship for an employment visa status
