Responsibilities
Develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing processes for space hardware (electronics, harnesses, power systems, enclosures)
Create and update production documentation (work instructions, test procedures)
Support production floor troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Support new product introduction and transition to production
Ensure processes comply with industry and quality standards
Participate in daily production standups and continuous improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience (aerospace, space, or defense preferred)
Experience supporting production floors and working cross-functionally
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent experience
U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person (ITAR)
Preferred
PCB assembly, wire harnesses, electronic enclosures (IPC standards)
AS9100 experience
Lean manufacturing and DFM experience
Manufacturing execution systems and work instruction authoring tools
