Responsibilities
Utilize a “Do it Right the First Time” philosophy in all activities
Sort, check, and place received material into logical or assigned locations
Create reorder requests when material needs replenishment
Provide material for the production line by following the material pick list on the Labor Plan
Must be accurate with all counts and markers being created
Double check your work
Conduct short- and long-range inventory strategies and planning
Coordinate with production requirements of production related materials and supplies with Inventory to ensure customer requirements are met
Provide expertise and assistance in formulating, developing and implementing inventory stocking and procurement
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels
Periodically or continuously, depending on the material type, count and record your findings for accuracy and allocations
Using 5S best practices, use the clean as you go method
Rearrange stock locations or materials to optimize space utilization when necessary
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to occasionally lift 35lbs to 50lbs
Must pass a background and drug test
Must have own reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license
Must be authorized to work in the U.S
Preferred
4 years production related experience
Knowledge and experience in stockroom
Forklift or Powerlift experience
