Responsibilities

Loading/unloading trucks & trailers
Pre/post trip inspections of company delivery vehicles
Unloading shipping containers
Delivering parts to customer job sites, including towing a trailer as needed
Picking and packing parts
Maintaining organization and cleanliness of shop, yard, and delivery vehicles
Shipping and receiving parts and equipment
Preparation of conveyor belt orders
Safely operate forklifts of various sizes and capacities
Communicate with customers at construction sites (verbal, CB, phone)
Comply to construction site safety standards (MSHA, OSHA, customer rules & regulations)
Safely operate overhead shop crane, belt winder, band saw, specialized tools
Communicate safety and maintenance issues promptly to Manager

Required

Knowledge of warehouse organization & function
Ability to work as a team
Ability to handle physical workload
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Willingness to learn on the job, attend internal & external training
Operation of proper tools, including a forklift
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Experience in towing a trailer and securing load
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Picking & packing methods
Current driver license
Clean driving record
Flexibility to adjust work schedule occasionally on an emergency basis to support customer breakdowns
