Responsibilities

Designs intermediate/complex level studies, models, reports, and analyses

Pulls and stages complex data sets

Analyzes data or develops models using intermediate/complex level techniques

Participates in and may lead communications with clients (internal and external) and vendors

Uses analytical tools such as SAS in diverse data analyses

Uses IDC9/10, CPT4, NDC, lab data, and other clinical fields in diverse data analyses

Required

Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience or Master's degree or Associate of the Society of Actuaries credential with at least 3 years of experience or High School/GED and at least 8 years of experience

Experience should be in healthcare research or analytics. Degree should be in a healthcare or analytics related field such as statistics, epidemiology, mathematics, economics, social or actuarial sciences

At least 3 years of experience manipulating complex data sets

Experience with advanced quantitative methods

Experience contributing to small analytical projects from conceptualization through completion

Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling)

Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font)

Intermediate level experience with Python R and SAS programming

Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)

Preferred

Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience -OR- Master's degree credential with at least 3 years of experience. Experience should be in healthcare related research or analytics. Degree should be in a healthcare or analytics related field such as computer science, statistics, epidemiology, mathematics, social sciences, or comparable field

Utilize advanced analytical tools and programming languages such as SQL, SAS, Python, R, or similar, across varied data environments such as Azure/Databricks

Design, implement, and support scalable, fault-tolerant clinical data products, including performant data access interfaces

Experience presenting and reporting on analytical results to appropriate internal stakeholders including senior management

Lead the design and execution of intermediate to complex analytic studies, evaluations, predictive models, reports, dashboards, or data-driven solutions

Effectively communicate analytical findings and insights to internal stakeholders, clients, and external vendors
