The role involves analyzing customer calls and data, dispatching personnel, and managing customer-related work to enhance service reliability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Analyze customer calls and computer data to determine the location and cause of power outages
Dispatch first response personnel and repair crews efficiently to address outages and emergencies
Schedule and manage non-emergency customer-related work in a timely and cost-effective manner
Accurately report outages to customer accounts and manage Estimated Restoration Times
Provide accurate and timely information to customers and resolve customer complaints
Deliver timely and accurate data to support continual service reliability improvements
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in computer skills and various software applications
Problem resolution and analytical thinking abilities
Teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail
Must pass NERC & FERC background investigation
Preferred
1-5 years of related experience preferred
Experience in utility companies, 911 dispatching, military background, or call centers is a plus
