Responsibilities
Clinical & Administrative Supervision: Provide direct clinical and administrative supervision to sociotherapists to ensure high-quality, compliant service delivery
Crisis & Risk Management: Oversee timely and appropriate responses to crises and high-risk situations involving children and youth
Compliance & Documentation Oversight: Review and approve clinical documentation, behavior plans, and records in Connections to ensure ACS and OCFS compliance
Staff Development & Supervision: Conduct weekly individual supervision and monthly group supervision to support clinical practice and professional growth
Trauma-Informed Care Leadership: Lead trauma-informed practice through oversight of behavior plans, foster parent collaboration, and implementation of Sanctuary Model principles
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Social Work or a related clinical discipline required
2+ years of supervisory experience within a child welfare or foster care setting, plus prior direct service experience with adolescents
Strong knowledge of foster care practices, ACS and OCFS regulations, permanency planning, youth development, and mental health systems
Working knowledge of Connections (New York State child welfare database) required
Organized leader with strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and a trauma-informed, youth-centered approach
