Responsibilities
Maintains and updates documentation and knowledge base articles for job duties and responsibilities
Interfaces with end users to resolve problems, determines best methods of solving issues, troubleshoots problems, etc
Prepares for and participates in meetings with supervisors and others to provide status updates, describe upcoming requirements, outline areas of deficiencies, etc
Serves as project lead for projects requiring infrastructure solutions
Utilizes change management process for all system changes
Coordinates the ordering of servers and storage as required
Designs development and implementation for expansions and changes to the servers/storage
Responsible for optimization of current infrastructure solutions
Identifies underutilized services
Participates in performing and leading technology build, test, and deployment activities
Works with project management team, technical team, application team, and business unit to build infrastructure solutions, identify potential risks and develop plans for remediation
Supports enterprise server/storage platforms and hardware in an effective manner, including updates to software and firmware
Qualification
Required
Bachelors in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
7+ years of systems/server administration experience; Administering all areas of Windows Servers & Intune Environments/Infrastructure
5+ years' experience with implementation and configuration of Windows Servers and tools in an enterprise environment
Strong understanding and practical knowledge of scripting languages
Proven project management skills and the ability to coordinate with vendors
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to lead groups in meetings and consensus building
Effective time management and organizational skills as well as the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities with attention to detail
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment
The ability to be on call
The ability to professionally document Root Cause Analysis and ongoing system documentation
Well-developed technical and analytical skills required to support and troubleshoot complex issues in an enterprise environment
Deep knowledge of server virtualization solutions, such as VMware, Citrix, Windows Servers, and NetApp storage arrays
A valid driver's license is required (if you do not have a valid Ohio driver's license you must obtain one within 30 days of your residency in the state). You must also meet BVHS's company fleet policy and insurance company requirements, and any other requirements that may be required to operate a vehicle
