Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to mid-market and upper-middle-market clients, often including privately held companies, portfolio companies of private equity firms, and growing multinationals
Advise clients on cross-border structuring, expansion, and repatriation strategies, ensuring compliance while optimizing global effective tax rates
Partner closely with firm leadership to develop go-to-market strategies targeting cross-border middle-market businesses and private equity-backed portfolios
Oversee the delivery of high-quality, technically sound international tax advice, ensuring adherence to professional standards and firm policies
Manage complex, multi-jurisdictional engagements, coordinating with global network firms or affiliates
Qualification
Required
12+ years of progressive international tax experience, ideally within a national, large regional, or mid-tier accounting firm; or equivalent experience in law firms or industry
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA, JD, LLM, or EA designation
Extensive experience with international tax compliance and consulting engagements
Proven ability to manage a book of business and support firm growth
Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
