Service Technician
Tadano Pan America is a company specializing in crane modifications for customers and distributors. The Service Technician is responsible for performing modifications, installations, and troubleshooting of crane components, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Performing Tadano issued modifications for Customers and Distributors
Installation, testing, and troubleshooting of components on cranes
Works with high and low voltage batteries and management systems
Performs, complete inspections in accordance with standard industry practices, specifications and factory guidelines
Completes necessary paperwork of service provided. Paperwork includes service reports, warranty reports, time sheets, parts requests and expense reports
Performs other labor as needed to maintain an orderly, safe and efficient work environment
May perform other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
Actively works for constant improvement through more efficient and less expensive ways to carry out different work processes
Reports irregular issues and problems to management for a solution
Maintains good communication with other managers, staff, and outside contacts
Complies with all company policies and procedures
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area
Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace
Qualification
Required
Technical diploma from college or technical school or equivalent alternative education/experience with 6-8+ years of experience
Mechanical and electrical skills
Proven knowledge of electrical systems including LIN, CAN, 12v and 24v systems
Ability to diagnose problems with equipment
Proficient with the use of mechanical and electrical diagnosing equipment to perform service work
Ability to read and interpret electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schemes
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Ability to communicate technical errors to non-technical people
Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule
Preferred
Relevant technical certificate is a plus
