People Operations Associate
Follett Software is dedicated to empowering educators with transformative technology to enhance student success. They are seeking a People Operations Associate to support and scale their People function, focusing on executing People systems and managing employee lifecycle operations.

Responsibilities
Support and execute People systems work across the employee lifecycle, including configuring workflows, launching surveys and programs, supporting reporting, and enabling effective use of tools across the employee lifecycle
Assist with administration and effective use of our People technology ecosystem, including HRIS, performance, engagement, recognition, and compliance tools
Support job changes and other employee lifecycle updates, ensuring employee data remains accurate and systems are kept up to date
Manage and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes in partnership with the People team
Support ongoing compliance work, including policy acknowledgements, required trainings, audits, and documentation
Partner with the People team and cross-functional stakeholders to support reporting, audits, and data integrity
Regularly update internal People Operations resources on Sharepoint, ensuring documentation remains accurate and up to date
Help maintain compliance calendars, ensure deadlines are met, and escalate potential gaps or risks as appropriate
Ensure People Operations processes are documented, repeatable, and employee-friendly, and help identify opportunities to streamline or improve them
Jump in to support special projects across the People team as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Experience supporting People Operations and/or HR systems in a growing organization
Hands-on experience administering HR and People tools such as Rippling, Lattice, Awardco, and Traliant, or similar platforms
Strong attention to detail and comfort managing multiple systems and processes at once
A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset — you notice gaps, ask questions, and take initiative without waiting for explicit direction
Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for input or escalate
Clear, thoughtful communicator who enjoys being helpful and responsive
Interest in growing your People Operations skill set and taking on increasing responsibility over time
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Preferred
Experience working in Tech or Saas preferred
Experience working on a fully remote or highly distributed team, with comfort operating independently and collaborating asynchronously preferred
