Responsibilities
You’ll join a specialist engineering group responsible for enhancing mission-critical EMS and ADMS platforms used by major grid utilities across North America
Depending on your focus area, Distribution, Network/Transmission, or SCADA, you will develop and optimize software that directly supports real-time grid monitoring and control in live operational environments
This is a back-end engineering role working in C, C++ and Python, focused on extending EMS/ADMS functionality, integrating SCADA components, and resolving complex issues that impact grid reliability and system stability
Qualification
Required
3+ years' experience with EMS, ADMS, SCADA, or other real-time grid control systems
Strong C++ and Python development experience in SCADA / EMS environments
Proven experience working with electrical power systems / grid operations (Transmission or Distribution)
Knowledge of ICCP, IEC, DNP3, Modbus, or similar protocols
Solid Linux experience and strong troubleshooting skills
Preferred
Experience with AEMS Reliance (XA/21) or similar EMS platforms
