They are seeking an eTrading Developer to enhance electronic trading capabilities within a global investment bank's Front Office eTrading department, focusing on delivering high-performance, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities
Design, code and test changes across ECN connectivity, pricing, RFQ and STP components
Take responsibility for low latency, high throughput and deterministic software solutions(messaging, caching, data structures, concurrency)
Profile and tune JVM/runtime characteristics (GC, memory, threading) or equivalent for C++
Collaborate with traders, quants, sales and production support to deliver resilient releases
Contribute to CI/CD best practices (pipelines, quality gates, coverage, security scanning)
Create clear runbooks, metrics and alerts to improve operability and support
Qualification
Required
1-2+ years of front office banking experience
Server-side Java and/or C++, with Python for tooling/automation
Experience with Messaging (Solace, Kafka, Aeron, MQ)
Previous experience with SQL (MS SQL, Oracle) and data-access performance tuning
Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, UrbanCode (or equivalent CI/CD)
Strong communication with globally distributed business and technology teams
Preferred
Experience with cloud-native solutions such as AWS services
2+ years building applications for Fixed Income, Equities or FX platforms
Previous experience with caching (e.g., Redis) and advanced performance diagnostics
