Responsibilities

Work with Supplier(s) to ensure proper upload of data into the VW system
Part updates and changes to existing parts / assemblies needed to support manufacturing feasibility, part performance improvements, and/or changes to interfacing components /systems
Obtain B-Release for provided IP/Console parts
Work with supplier to ensure tooling timing supports downstream deliverables
Support IP/Console commodity DV/PV testing and lead issue resolution
Support supplier builds
Support onsite Scout builds
Issue resolution for all open IP/Console issues thru build phase

Required

8+ years experience in engineering Instrument Panel / Console Systems thru all development phases
Experience with Catia software system and pulling in and cutting sections in data
Understanding of Instrument Panel / Console system requirements
Experience in DV/PV testing phase for instrument panel / console
Fast resolution of open issues for instrument panel / console
Strong understanding of the quality process from DFMEA, PFMEA and Control plans
Proficient ability to read, speak, and understand English
Take direction from Scout Engineering to modify components for engineering/design/safety requirements

Preferred

Plus to have knowledge of the VW systems
