Business Development Representative I- Onsite

Responsibilities

Responsible for the promotion of credit union products and services to members by leading webinars and monthly virtual events, by telephone, in-branch, or while representing the credit union at various community and sponsor events
Providing counsel to new and existing members regarding to the various credit union services and investment opportunities available
Assist members with opening new accounts (Regular Shares, Share Draft, Money Market, Term Accounts, IRAs, etc.) and submitting loan applications
Cultivate new and maintain existing relationships for all facets of the sponsor organizations and their affiliates

Required

High School Diploma
Minimum of 2 years of previous member service experience with a Credit Union or bank
Ability to resolve routine member inquiries
Ability to travel locally, and non-locally, up to 50% of the time
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation available for use in accomplishing job requirements
US citizenship and supporting documentation required to gain security clearance to all sponsor organization sites
Strong work ethic
Ability to develop strong relationships with members and sponsor representatives
Strong verbal communication skills
Results oriented and highly self-motivated
Ability to effectively prioritize time and responsibilities
Proven customer service and cash handling experience
Analytic capabilities with attention to detail in processing member transactions and loan applications
Exemplary organizational skills
Intermediate MS skills with strong PowerPoint skills

Preferred

Prior experience working at a member service level in a credit union environment
Some experience processing consumer loan applications
Comfortable hosting virtual meetings and leading webinars for large groups
