This fully remote role involves conducting internal audits, reviewing processes for regulatory adherence, and collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance and improve operations.

Responsibilities
Conduct internal compliance audits (documentation, billing, coding, operational workflows)
Review processes for adherence to federal, state, and payer regulations
Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions
Prepare clear audit reports and track remediation efforts
Collaborate with clinical, operations, and leadership teams
Support policy updates and compliance training initiatives
Stay current on evolving healthcare compliance standards
Qualification
Required
Experience in compliance auditing, healthcare operations, or regulatory review
Working knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, billing compliance, Medicare/Medicaid, payer requirements)
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with documentation systems and spreadsheets
Preferred
Prior experience in outpatient healthcare, rehab, or provider-based settings
Compliance, audit, or healthcare-related certification (e.g., CHC, CPC, CIA)
Experience supporting multi-site organizations
