Maintenance Mechanic II - Weekend 1st Shift

Whitcraft Group is a global manufacturer of complex aircraft engine components, dedicated to operational improvement and customer service. They are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support and perform maintenance on equipment used in manufacturing and facility repair.

Responsibilities

Installs, services and maintains the operating condition of all the facilities equipment
Determines the reasons for equipment failure
Makes routine, periodic or special inspections to determine the necessity of the repair and maintenance of the plant machinery and equipment
Uses manufacturer drawings and specifications, installation, layouts, and sketches to facilitate internal repairs of less than major repairs
Acts as subject matter expert and shares knowledge willingly with other employees
Assists with training other employees and fosters a team environment
Follows all applicable safety rules and precautions and maintains a neat and orderly work area
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required

High School diploma or equivalent required
4+ years of experience in Maintenance Mechanic, or related field
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis
Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations

Preferred

Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
Proficiency in English language, both verbal and written
Experience in precision manufacturing equipment
Experience in Fanuc, Haas and Yasnac controls
Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to operate maintenance shop equipment
Adaptable to changing business needs and skilled in problem-solving
