Responsibilities

Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet deadlines and customer demand
Organize the manufacturing workflow to optimize the use of labor, equipment, and materials
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products
Coordinate with procurement to manage the supply chain and prevent shortages
Manage the production budget, track expenditures, and identify opportunities to reduce operational costs without compromising quality
Ensure adherence to all company policies and government regulations regarding health, safety, and environmental protection
Perform routine safety checks on people, processes and equipment to identify and mitigate hazards
Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures throughout the manufacturing process
Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, defects, and other issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime
Analyze production data, such as output rates and efficiency metrics, to identify areas for improvement
Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to streamline processes and reduce waste
Lead shift starts, visual daily management, GEMBA walks, and business performance reviews
Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of all production personnel
Decide how to best direct associates to meet production goals, determine staffing needs, and schedule working hours
Ensure all employees are properly trained to maintain a highly skilled and motivated workforce
