They are seeking a Professional Coding Auditor/Education Specialist who will be responsible for conducting detailed audits, educating healthcare providers, and developing training materials related to medical coding and billing.

Conduct detailed audits and identify trends and discrepancies in medical coding
Prepare comprehensive reports on audit findings
Educate healthcare providers on documentation issues and coding practices
Develop training materials and lead improvement projects
Utilize Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Teams, for reporting and training purposes
Qualification
Required
Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
High School graduate or equivalent
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Knowledge of medical terminology
Knowledge of ICD-10
Knowledge of HCPCS
Knowledge of CPT
Experience in abstracting E/M and CPT codes
Multispecialty/Complex coding experience
Good communication skills
Time management skills
Demonstrates initiative to provide quality of services and improve efficiencies
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Teams
Preferred
Certified Professional Medical Auditor
Experience in professional coding education, compliance documentation, and/or auditing
Previous experience in a medical office setting
