Responsibilities

Researches best practices to design creative, engaging, and effective training solutions for LSC-North Harris faculty and staff
Plans, schedules, and hosts various meetings/seminars/events, including site selection and preparation, marketing and training materials, and general support
Works closely with the Manager, PDES Department, and events planning to coordinate faculty and staff training, development, and engagement events
Design, develop, and deliver learning strategies and solutions that are performance-focused, effective, engaging, and innovative
Develops and facilitates professional development programs/initiatives in consultation with subject matter experts (SMEs), college departments, and divisions
Responsible for detailed project management for the development and delivery of high-quality courses and training
Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned

Required

Associate degree or higher and at least 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
In-depth knowledge of desktop applications, including Office 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat
College-level verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and promote new technology

Preferred

Bachelor's degree
Experience working in higher education
Experience leading training and development seminars/workshops/programs or similar classroom teaching experience
