Responsibilities
Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot global DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) platforms in a distributed, global environment
Lead automation initiatives to eliminate manual operational tasks, focusing on self-service tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration-as-code solutions
Develop Python or C# based automation tools, REST APIs, and monitoring/health-check frameworks to optimize service delivery
You are responsible for owning and managing DNS, DNS security measures, engineering advanced DNS concepts
You will design integration capabilities of DNS, DHCP and IPAM systems
You are responsible for performing regular audits of DDI stack
Design and implement pipelines and indexes for data aggregation and analysis
Develop and enforce policies and foresee DRBCP implementations of our infrastructure
Mentor junior team members and collaborate with global stakeholders on engineering, automation, and remediation projects
Create and maintain technical documentation, including processes, procedures, project requirements, and architectural designs
Participate in the team’s on-call support rotation to ensure 24/7 service reliability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience
5+ years of experience in Enterprise Engineering/Infrastructure, DevOps, or Data Center Enterprise Technologies
3+ years experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions
3+ years programming experience in object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, Javascript, C/C++
Experience developing distributed systems, large scale purpose driven systems, databases and/or backend APIs
Preferred
MS or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline
5+ years of hands-on software engineering
Tech and team leadership experience
3+ years working with production systems
Experience in technology and strategic leadership role in a large organization
Experience designing and building infrastructure and web services at large scale
Experience in building and testing of highly reliable, available and scalable large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures
Shipped big projects with lots of team dependencies
Involved in creating and executing tech strategy
Good at coaching and mentoring team members
