Polysomnography Technologist - Pulmonary Sleep Lab

Responsibilities
Work with a dynamic team of certified sleep physicians, respiratory therapists, and fellow polysomnographers to diagnose and treat sleep and waking disorders
Providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders through polysomnography, diagnostic, and therapeutic services or patient care and education
Qualification
Required
Current certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists, Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) by the American Board of Sleep Medicine, or Sleep Disorders Specialist (RRT-SDS or CRT-SDS) by the National Board for Respiratory Care required
Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date
Three years of experience in Respiratory Care
Preferred
Graduate of AMA-approved School of Respiratory Care, electroencephalogram diagnostics or polysomnography CAAHP approved program preferred
Completion of college level basic principles of polysomnography course preferred
Extensive experience in CPAP/BIPAP application preferred
Two years of sleep study experience preferred
