They are seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician responsible for the installation, calibration, operation, maintenance, and repair of various instrumentation devices and electrical equipment in a heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Operation of valves, controllers, transmitters, positioners, PLC's, pneumatic, electronic, and hydraulic lines

Operation and troubleshooting of motors, motor starters, motor controllers, inverters, electrical switchgear, lighting and all electrical circuits from DC up to and including 4160V

Perform basic calibration of instruments on process and utility equipment

Basic troubleshooting and repair of process controllers, plant equipment, and laboratory instruments

Configure and repair microprocessor-based instruments and controllers utilizing available instructions and manuals

Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files, electrical files, E&I drawings, and work order documentation is complete with accurate information

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

The ability to pass an aptitude test in industrial Electrical/Instrumentation functions and complete a training program

Two years electrical or electrician experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
