They are looking for a ServiceNow Platform Architect to take end-to-end responsibility for the architecture and strategic direction of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it delivers sustainable business value while maintaining best practices and governance.

Responsibilities

Own the overall ServiceNow architecture, ensuring it is scalable, secure, high-performing, and maintainable
Define and maintain architectural standards, patterns, and guardrails across the platform
Drive roadmap planning for new modules, integrations, and platform enhancements
Ensure alignment with wider enterprise architecture, security, and compliance frameworks
Establish and enforce standards for development, configuration, and integrations
Review and approve solution designs to avoid unnecessary customisation and technical debt
Define strategies for upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
Serve as the final point of authority on platform-related technical decisions
Translate business needs into scalable and well-governed ServiceNow solutions
Advise senior leaders on platform capabilities, limitations, and trade-offs
Mentor and guide administrators, developers, and product owners
Act as a trusted advisor during audits, incidents, and major transformation initiatives

Qualification

Required

7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience with architectural ownership
Proven background designing and delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions
Strong integration experience, including APIs, MID Servers, and third-party systems
Demonstrated experience defining governance models and enforcing technical standards
Confident communicator able to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA)
Experience supporting multi-instance or global ServiceNow environments
ITIL v4 certification
Background in regulated or high-availability environments
Exposure to enterprise architecture or large-scale platform transformation programmes
