Responsibilities

Collaborate with department heads and budget owners to develop comprehensive annual budgets aligned with organizational objectives and financial forecasts

Utilize historical data and future projections to forecast budget needs and support long-term financial planning

Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecast data in budget management systems

Track budget performance against actuals, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions

Manage Purchase Order (PO) accruals and support invoice approvals and reconciliation

Support budget transfers, credit card transaction processing, and expense tracking

Create purchase requests and partner with procurement for timely PO creation

Drive quarterly vendor reviews and maintain vendor lists

Facilitate strategic sourcing engagement, submit new vendor requests, and enforce vendor governance

Deliver timely financial reports, summaries, and executive-ready presentations with key insights

Provide financial guidance to stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making

Facilitate budget-related discussions across departments

Identify and implement opportunities to streamline budgeting and financial processes

Establish best practices to improve efficiency and resource utilization

Train and support departmental staff on budgeting tools, procedures, and compliance
