Responsibilities

Provides administrative support to the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences Humanities Internship Program

Assists Humanities Internship Coordinator with administrative duties, including scheduling meetings with internal and external constituents; responding to inquiries about the program from students, faculty and external partners; and managing the calendar for the program

Creates, maintains, and manages system for collecting and processing internship applications

In collaboration with Humanities Internship Coordinator, creates and maintains system for tracking student internship placements

Assists Humanities Internship Coordinator and Humanities Internship Evaluator with evaluation data collection

Processes student internship stipends

Collaborates with Humanities Internship Coordinator to plan and execute workshops and programs

Tasks include reserving campus space using the 25Live system; catering orders; securing workshop materials; creating and distributing event invitations; notifying student interns and faculty of events; assisting with set up at events

Attends events to check attendees in, and to ensure smooth execution of program

Assists Humanities Internship Coordinator with program web page updates, and Blackboard updates, including developing materials

Also develops and maintains social media presence on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok
