Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive treatments

Monitor for complications related to cancer and transplant therapies

Collaborate with oncologists, transplant specialists, and interdisciplinary teams

Provide education and emotional support to patients and families

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualification

PALS certificationPediatric oncology/BMT experienceRegistered Nurse licenseBasic Life Support (BLS)Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Required

PALS certification

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers

RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date

Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
