The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for tennis in the United States. The Finance & Accounting Intern will gain hands-on experience in financial planning, budgeting, and data analysis while supporting various business areas within the organization.

Responsibilities

Support the annual budget planning and projection process for USTA Coaching, USA Tennis, Play & Participation, the National Campus, and Facilities

Conduct Serve Tennis revenue analysis by business line and assist in building a pricing model to identify break-even scenarios

Partner with the Fulfillment Operations team to analyze inventory data, cost allocations, and process efficiencies

Evaluate the financial impact of Community Tennis grants and participation initiatives, developing ROI reports and dashboards

Required

Basic understanding of GAAP principles and interest in expanding financial and accounting knowledge

Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end/year-end processes

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Confident communicator who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders

Comfortable navigating ambiguity, working independently, and proactively asking questions

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
