CORRECTIONAL COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST 2 - CONTRACT MONITORING - 74322
The State of Tennessee's Department of Correction operates and oversees adult prisons and community supervision. The Correctional Compliance Specialist 2 is responsible for auditing facilities, preparing compliance reports, and assisting in follow-up audits to ensure compliance with contracts and regulations.

Responsibilities
Assist with auditing all facilities, to include privately managed facilities for medical, behavioral health, and/or food service audits
Assist the Senior Compliance Specialist with any compliance matters or directives/ initiatives as approved
Prepare audit paperwork/documentation needed for each audit scheduled
Report deficiencies to management for review
Complete pre-audit work in preparation for upcoming audits
Assist in follow-up audits to ensure findings are corrected
Prepare reports and presentations for executive staff
Assist with reviewing and developing inspection instruments
Review policies, as assigned; and
Provide other administrative support, as needed
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and experience equivalent to five years of correctional work
Qualifying full-time professional or paraprofessional correctional experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of four years
5 years of compliance or auditing experience in correctional facilities or programs
