Responsibilities
Organize and Maintain Litigation Folders: Ensure all case-related documents are systematically organized, easily accessible, and up to date
Client and Expert Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and experts, keeping them informed, and ensuring all communications are documented
Assist in Discovery Process: Draft and respond to discovery requests, organize and review discovery documents, and maintain meticulous records of all discovery-related activities
Support the Legal Team: Provide essential support in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials, including organizing exhibits and trial binders
Maintain Documentation: Regularly update and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete
General Administrative Support: Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth case management and workflow
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of legal procedures, terminology, and the court system, especially in personal injury cases
Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on document management and case organization
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, experts, and legal team members
Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Previous experience as a Litigation Paralegal, particularly in personal injury law, is highly preferred
Certification or Associates Degree as a Paralegal is preferred
