Senior ServiceNow System Administrator - ITSM
Blu Omega is seeking a Senior ServiceNow System Administrator to manage and optimize the ServiceNow platform for their client. This role involves overseeing the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of the platform, with a focus on IT Service Management functions and endpoint protection.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of the ServiceNow platform, including support for ticketing, disaster recovery, license management, digital certificates, and keys
Oversee the administration of core modules such as User Accounts, CMDB, Service Catalog, alerts, and integrations across all environments
Implement and support endpoint protection solutions within the ServiceNow environment, ensuring device security and compliance across the organization
Provide expert guidance on best practices for support, system performance, and endpoint security, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response
Identify areas for improvement within the ServiceNow platform and lead initiatives to modernize and enhance functionality, with a focus on security enhancements
Mentor and lead teams of ServiceNow administrators, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and security awareness
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and implement upgrades or new features aligned with organizational and security goals
Maintain a proactive approach to system health, security, and compliance, ensuring operational excellence and endpoint defense
Qualification
Required
4+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration, including ITSM core tables, scripting, business rules, portals, catalog items, reporting, and data management
Proven experience managing and mentoring teams of ServiceNow administrators
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential required
Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies
Experience integrating and supporting endpoint security tools within ITSM platforms
Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
Preferred
Knowledge of SOAP Web Services, SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP integrations
Possession of ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Foundations Certification
Experience with endpoint protection platforms and security management
Experience working with government clients or understanding of government clearance processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
