The Senior Analyst will play a key role in executing transactions across the capital stack, managing investor relationships, and supporting capital raising efforts for the company's growth.
Responsibilities
Raise capital to fund the growth of EnFin’s residential TPO business
Assist in deal execution with JV/debt/tax equity investors
Develop presentation materials for investors
Assist asset management team in preparing borrowing requests and executing tranche sales
Work with 3rd party appraisers, insurance providers, and independent engineers
Perform both recurring and ad-hoc analysis to support the senior members of the capital markets team
Build and maintain complex project finance/tax equity models
Review and comment on complicated JV, debt, and tax equity legal documents
Ensure a close linkage between capital costs and market pricing
Teach and instill best practices for junior members of the team
Qualification
Required
Passion for renewable energy and the adoption of rooftop solar
Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, engineering or related field
Minimum 8+ years of professional work experience including 5+ years of experience in project finance or structured finance at a top-tier developer, asset manager, or investment bank
Relentless intellectual curiosity and unwavering attention to detail
Experience in MS Office Suite and Excel (Pivot tables, functions, & VBA)
Willingness to learn how to use new AI tools to enhance efficiency
Unparalleled work ethics and ability to research, identify and troubleshoot problems independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced, 'start-up' work environment
Preferred
Solar Industry experience (Renewable)
Experience building and maintaining complex project finance Excel models
Basic understanding of consumer lending, credit underwriting, and renewable energy finance
Experience with SQL, Python or SAS
3+ years of experience in consumer or renewable energy finance
