VP Sales – Risk Specialty & Parametric Insurance
ORBITInsure is building next-generation risk infrastructure for space, climate, and critical systems. They are seeking a VP of Sales to lead U.S. Risk models and parametric product revenue execution, scale MGA partnerships, and turn ORBITInsure into a repeatable, insurance-grade growth engine.

Responsibilities
Own national revenue targets and sales execution
Build and scale an MGA-first distribution model, starting with priority states: California, Florida, Texas, Washington
Recruit and lead Regional Directors aligned by state and vertical
Drive commercial adoption of: Risk assessment & exposure intelligence, Warren AI™ parametric data & triggers, Usage-based data feeds and underwriting support
Structure multi-year agreements with MGAs, carriers, and partners
Define and manage quotas, comp plans, and OKRs
Maintain tight alignment with product and underwriting to ensure deployable, insurable outcomes (not demos)
Qualification
Required
10+ years in insurance sales, MGA distribution, or specialty underwriting
Direct experience selling to or through MGAs, program administrators, or carriers
Proven ability to build teams, set quotas, and close complex B2B2B deals
Comfortable operating at the intersection of data, underwriting, and revenue
Preferred
Familiarity with parametric insurance, catastrophe risk, climate, space, or infrastructure risk is a strong plus
