Responsibilities
Develop state-of-the-art IP test products
Design mechanical and thermal system solutions, including sourcing off-the-shelf parts
Simulate and design thermal solutions
Work with suppliers to resolve DFM/DFA concerns
Validate designs, obtain quotes, build, and test prototypes
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly for us on W2
BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience
Proven track record in product development from concept to production
Strong design skills, analytical problem-solving, and attention to detail
Experience designing complex electro-mechanical systems and thermal management solutions, including liquid cooling
Knowledge of sheet metal, machined parts, plastic, and extrusion fabrication methods
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SolidWorks; familiarity with ANSI drafting standards
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent verbal and written English skills and ability to work effectively in small teams
Competence with hand and bench tools
Preferred
Experience with SolidWorks Flow Simulation
Knowledge of networking/data center equipment
Knowledge of HALT testing
