Responsibilities
Identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers for the company’s products or services
Creating a strong pipeline of opportunities that fuels the success of the sales team
Researching and segmenting target markets
Identifying decision-makers within organizations
Using multiple outreach channels—such as cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn messaging, and social media engagement—to connect with prospects
Understanding each prospect’s industry, challenges, and goals to effectively tailor their pitch and communicate the value proposition of the company’s offerings
Qualifying leads based on specific criteria
Ensuring that account executives receive prospects who are ready and able to engage in meaningful sales conversations
Scheduling discovery calls, product demos, or meetings
Documenting all interactions in the company’s CRM system to maintain an organized and up-to-date pipeline
Providing feedback on campaign performance and prospect insights to improve lead generation efforts
Qualification
Required
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong active listening abilities
Capacity to quickly learn and articulate the benefits of complex products or services
Goal-driven, resilient, and curious
Ability to handle rejection while staying motivated to meet or exceed key performance metrics such as outreach volume, response rates, and conversion rates
Experience in researching and segmenting target markets
Ability to identify decision-makers within organizations
Experience using multiple outreach channels such as cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn messaging, and social media engagement
Ability to qualify leads based on specific criteria
Experience scheduling discovery calls, product demos, or meetings
Experience documenting interactions in a CRM system
Ability to collaborate with the marketing team and provide feedback on campaign performance and prospect insights
