Mid LevelThrone Solutions is seeking an experienced Wireless Network Engineer for a temporary on-site project in Bellevue, Washington. The role involves conducting a professional Wi-Fi heat map survey and supporting the replacement of legacy access points with new units across a three-floor facility.

Responsibilities
Perform an on-site wireless heat map survey using Ekahau with the new access points
Analyze floor plans and determine optimal placement for new APs
Verify and document the type and condition of existing network cabling used for current access points
Provide a detailed quotation and recommendations for any additional cabling requirements based on survey results
Support and assist in replacing old access points with new AP units
Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during deployment
Prepare a brief technical report including coverage analysis, AP placement, and cabling requirements
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in wireless network surveys and enterprise Wi-Fi deployments
Hands-on experience with Ekahau Site Survey software
Must own or have access to an Ekahau device/license (or be able to rent/provide one)
Strong understanding of structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, etc.)
Experience with access point installation and replacement
Ability to read and analyze architectural floor plans
Professional communication and documentation skills
Must be available for on-site work in Bellevue, WA
Preferred
CWNA / CWDP / CWAP or similar certification (plus)
Experience with enterprise vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Ubiquiti, Ruckus, or similar
Prior experience working on multi-floor commercial buildings
