Responsibilities
Loan File Review & Validation: Review loan applications, credit files, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Borrower & Third-Party Coordination: Communicate with borrowers, brokers, agents, and vendors to obtain required documentation and resolve missing or incomplete information
Underwriting & Document Preparation: Prepare and organize loan files for underwriting review, including analysis of appraisals, title reports, and related loan documents
Pipeline & Timeline Management: Track loans from application through closing, proactively managing timelines and providing status updates to stakeholders
Cross-Functional Support: Partner with origination and underwriting teams to support loan approvals and assist with accurate, timely closing and funding
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required
3-10 years of experience in loan processing, loan operations, or servicing within a real estate or lending environment
Strong understanding of loan processing workflows, underwriting requirements, and closing procedures
Proficiency with loan origination systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Detail-oriented, organized professional with strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex loan files in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
