The Real Estate Development Financial Analyst will support various projects through financial analysis, model development, and market research to guide investment decisions.

Responsibilities
Assist in the development and evaluation of retail, residential, office, hotel, parking, and entertainment venue models for both new construction and existing assets
Create and maintain mixed-use proforma statements and projections, which accurately reflect current development costs and projected revenues and expenses
Perform market research to determine/verify a project’s economics and verify assumptions in models
Update models with actual data to evaluate the current status of various investments
Develop and analyze existing investment models with the ability to create new models from scratch
Assist with physical due diligence for broker partnerships, tenant applications, and other contracts
Support team in entitlement, capitalization, underwriting, and asset management
Prepare PowerPoint presentations with the goal of making complex financial analysis easily digestible
Perform ad hoc financial analysis from breakeven scenarios to trending vs target budget comparisons
Assist in other projects related to the arena and campus as necessary
Qualification
Required
3+ years in commercial real estate finance required
Advanced experience with Excel modeling
Experience with ARGUS Enterprise
Experience with presenting data to key stakeholders required
Preferred
Experience with complex financial models for underwriting commercial real estate properties
Analyst experience for a real estate development company
