Hawaiian Building Maintenance is seeking a full-time Maintenance Floater to perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. The role involves preventative maintenance inspections, customer service interactions, and ensuring mechanical systems are operational.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs: painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and grounds maintenance

Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers, vendors, customers, etc

Drive to different locations to provide coverage

Able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 50lbs up to 75lbs, walk, bend, stretch during shift

Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary

Create and maintain work orders

Create and maintain purchase orders

Perform any additional maintenance related duties as required by Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM) supervisor/property management

Experience in the industry

Valid driver's license

Reliable vehicle

Previous hands-on maintenance experience

Light plumbing experience

Electrical experience

Compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations

Must pass background check

High school diploma/GED

Ability to work a flexible schedule

Must have basic hand tools

General preventative maintenance experience is required (Basic commercial plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and drywall)

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
