Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities

Achievement and expansion of Rayner’s sales targets in our US Pharmaceutical business line within the assigned region, including:
Ability to expand new business through inside sales
Ability to establish rapport quickly with customers and maintain long-term relationships
Ability to initiate high-level interactive business conversations with decision makers
Ability to identify and develop strategies to overcome obstacles in the prospect’s or customer’s decision-making process
Build a strong pipeline, close new business, and expand relationships with new and existing customers
Utilize the CRM to ensure sales activities are correctly documented, opportunities are forecasted accurately, and adequate customer information is capture and communicated
Ensuring active and goal-oriented customer management for all doctors, clinics, practices and other customers in the US region through active and timely use of the installed CRM system
Intensive use of the existing sales analysis programs for the purpose of developing proactive, independent and strategic sales activities
Develop new relationships with new customers in order to strengthen Rayner's position in the US and in the overall market, including:
Support cross-functional efforts through intensive collaboration with the Sales, Eyescience and Marketing departments
Training and development concepts in cooperation with Eyescience for doctors and operating room staff in hospitals and practices
Dedicated to Rayner’s ongoing sales strategy and goal-oriented
Professional behavior towards internal and external customers representing Rayner’s core values
Positive, open and creative collaboration with the existing teams in order to ensure added value for the customer when using the Rayner product portfolio
Observation of market and customer trends, including price development and competitor activities, feedback to the sales, marketing and eyescience teams
Continuous development of personal sales skills as well as product knowledge through participation in internal or external training programs with documentation of results
Drive targeted sales activities in your assigned area in accordance with the defined sales and marketing strategies
Elaboration of ongoing action, sales and area plans and sales analysis
Compliance with Rayner’s quality management systems and relevant SOPs as well as other guidelines
Prepare reports and action sales and area plans, as well as sales analysis when required
Always represent Rayner in a positive and professional manner

Required

Bachelors Degree in business, marketing, or related field or a combination of experience and education
1 to 3 years of inside sales experience in the pharma or medical device space
Experience in ophthalmic sales

Preferred

Proven track record in selling buy and bill pharmaceuticals
